Marsha Recknagel is a writer and artist living in Williamstown, MA.
She has a Ph.D. in Literature and earned her M.F.A. in Creative Nonfiction from Bennington College Writing Seminars. Before moving to Williamstown, she taught creative writing as Writer-in-Residence and English professor at Rice University. In 2001, her book, If Nights Could Talk, was listed as one of The Los Angeles Times Book Review's Best Books of the Year.
She has been painting and working with mixed media collage since 2008.
